Libra Horoscope for week of August 28th, 2008
"The apocalypse won't be all that bad," Bible scholar Parker Creaston told the Weekly World News. There'll be a "brief period of mild to moderate disorder," after which will come an extended period of "worldwide peace and harmony." Similarly, Libra, your fear of impending chaos in your personal sphere will turn out to be overblown. Yes, you may suffer temporary shortages and inconveniences, as well as what we might call a metaphorical "traffic jam." But you can forget about mountains of fire, seas of blood, and hordes of locusts from the bottomless pit. They will definitely not be showing up.

I have been burning the candle at both ends again and now I am paying for it. Going to bed early again...grrrr.
I know it's a little late.....but I didn't have time to process this with the other one.
A friend of mine brought this back from New Orleans. Don't be scared, I have never used it...I am not sure I would have any idea how to anyway....
Horoscope for the week of August 21 2008
Libra (September 23-October 22)
The 19th-century American philosopher Henry David Thoreau accomplished a lot. Among his voluminous body of work was Civil Disobedience, a book that inspired Tolstoy, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr. In the two-million-word journal he kept for over two decades, he wrote about nature with a precision and care that prefigured modern-day environmentalism. But Thoreau also knew how to relax, and he was free of anxiety about living up to other people's standards of success. One passage in his journal reads, "For many years I was a self-appointed inspector of snowstorms and rainstorms and did my duty faithfully, though I never received payment for it." He's your role model for the rest of 2008, Libra. May he inspire you to give yourself the slack you need and compete with no one but yourself as you become more of the unique work of art you were born to be.
She was really trying NOT to look into the camera - she didn't want her soul to be stolen!
I make a fruit smoothy everything evening for my breakfast the next day. I am usually too rushed in the morning to even manage something like that! I always make a little bit extra and have a little evening snack of the left-overs!
There isn't only fruit in these smoothies. There is also flax seed, silken tofu, hemp seed oil, flax oil, soy milk, hemp seed nuts, and various fruits and fruit juices. To say it is a meal in an understatement!
Haven't I done this pose before?? Today I took part in a Model Training Session for the Ottawa Art School. I am thinking about becoming a Life-drawing model or something like that. I must say that my experience with my 365 has made me more aware of my body and what works best!
Oh yeah! I'm intimidating alright! NOT!
Only 20 days to go!!
Check it out! We wanted to also touch up the older tattoo but we just didn't have the time, as it was this took 5 hours!
This is also for HNT....
just realized it looks vaguely familiar....hmmm....why do I seem to get the same hair style???
Tomorrow = tattooage!!!!!
Ha! Bubbles are fun but can be very frustrating to photograph!!
Scary....be forewarned - resistance is futile.
I sometimes forget how long it can take to get from one end of Vancouver to the next.
totally blurry...but who cares??
Although taking this shot without a remote was a little bit difficult, but M.'s car certainly came in handy!
It is sooo cool to meet a "Flickr friend" in person and hit it off as much as you have online! You rock girl! ;)
after getting my ass kicked by climbing Grouse Mountain. It is referred to as the "Grouse Grind" and it took me 1 hour and 11 mins to make it to the top! Which sucked really, but having a beer at the top in memory of my dear friend Jamie whom recently was killed in Afghanistan was certainly worth it.
That is the city of Vancover in the background. What a view!
Day 3 of my journey across Canada on a train....
Day 3 and my train adventure is complete! We arrived 5 hours late but were in fairly good humour as we were given free cookies and juice!
After arrival I did a 12 km run along the seaway in Vancouver throughly enjoying the salty sea smells. I LOVE it out here!
Day 2...We are 5 hours behind in our train schedule.....
Day 1 of my three day trip across Western Canada to Vancouver on the train brought up a few interesting questions. Why would anyone open a banana from the bottom?? After a scientific study was preformed it was discovered that it is much faster and less messy that way!
