I am heading off to Groton, Connecticut tomorrow for a week. I shall still be taking pictures but not sure what my uploading ability is going to be. Anyhow...off to pack.
These are random thoughts/daily observances that I come up with....
The morning started out really warm and then towards the afternoon it started to get a little bit chilly. An hour after this picture was taken everything was frozen and it had started to snow - something they call a flash freeze! crazy!
So today I found out that I got accepted into a the University Training Program that I have been trying for two years to get into! This means that starting in September my employer will pay for me to attend University full time while paying my full salary! woot!! I have two years left to go to get my Bachelor's degree...I believe it shall be Political Science.
So no remote as of yet, but I have gotten one put aside for me at a local camera shop and will hopefully have time this week to go and pick it up! In the meantime you will have to suffer through some close-up shots.
I was out wandering aimlessly with my camera today and came upon this lovely trash can so I had to shoot it. I drew the attention of a creepy guy walking by here is the conversation:
MAN: "You are doing the photography aren't you?"
ME: "Excuse me?"
MAN: "Can you tell me why you are taking a picture of that trash can - what makes it interesting?"
I couldn't explain it to him, just said that it was interesting against the brick wall etc. He seemed to be satisfied and thanked me and walked away.....he was creepy.

Tried a little levitation this afternoon.....I think it went well..
Long day...this is all I have for today. I apologize if my creativity sucks today.
Random Fact: I would love to be a librarian. I love books. I love their smell and always smell a book before I read it for the first time - old and new. If it's a new book I wonder what journeys it will experience and if it is old, what journeys it has taken.
Random fact: The two white spots on my front teeth were possibly caused by my having a high fever when I was little. My Dad not knowing any other option submerged me in a cold bath. I used to hate them, but now I like them as they make me unique. ;)
I happened upon this fantastic website with an even more fantastic idea. The website is Joy Tshirt. The whole idea is that every face on a Joy T- Shirt has been inspired by a real person. When you wear your shirt you are encouraged to think about that person and how your everyday actions can affect others and the world we live in.
After you purchase a shirt you may then upload a photo of your own visage via the participate link to have your face drawn by hand and worn on the hearts of others. It
is about taking an active stance against racism and discrimination while being an
advocate for peace and equality... because in someway or another, we are all
connected!
So my shirt has Neil Cahoon on it. He is from Ireland. His passions are Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf, Rugby, Kite Surfing, Snowboarding, Live Music, and enjoying a Pint on a Patio.
