I was paired this week with the very talented M.Fayre and our theme to interpret was a quote instead of a word. Our quote was "All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware." ~ Martin Buber When I initially read the quote I had a different concept in my head then what I ended up shooting but for some reason the thought of shooting in a graveyard was always in the back of me head. I suppose the thought of the journey taken (wherever it is that we go) after we die is certainly an interesting one and worth exploring. After seeing what M. Fayre had taken I had a feeling that each image would be complimentary to each other. :)

This is a diptych project by a group of female photographers who have known each other a long time on Flickr. The project matches two of us together each week with a different theme to interpret how we want, on an individual basis. We then create a diptych using each of our photographs.

The results of the collabrations are being posted on a blog, which you can find here ...

This is not my first time delving into using clones in a photo but this is the first time that I felt inspired to make them "ghost" like. Putting "ghosts" into my image was kind of appropriate considering I was hanging out in a graveyard. ;)

I am fairly happy with how this one turned out actually. :)
